The Bible This book was created in the 1st century AD. It is the basic guideline for Christians across the world. It explains their God's beliefs, commandments, and values of life. As well as telling the stories of their God's impact on the world. Not only can it be seen as a history book, but as it can be seen as a story. It tells historical events from the views of Christian's and The Christian God himself. This book starts off with the creation of the world, and then continues through history. Until it ends with the Book of Revelation, that tells of the events that will occur during the end of the world. This Book consists of 2 main sections, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is the collection of stories before Jesus’ birth. And the New Testament is after Jesus has been born. Jesus is God's son, sent from heaven in human form, to live and suffer like human's do. I chose to “become” this book because it has stories and life lessons that can be applied to everyday life. It contains morals and philosophies that show people a good way to live life. Such as: “Give and it shall be given to you. For whatever measure you deal out to others, it will be dealt to you in return.” This is now known as the golden rule; treat others the way you want to be treated. This is a quote and philosophy that we use everyday and it dates back to the end of BC. If people lose books they’ll also lose the lessons that go along with them. The bible teaches us to live our life to the fullest, because we only have one. If the citizens knew that, they won’t waste everyday sitting around the house, they’d be up having fun. Also, it shows how evil society can be. People need to realize that things aren’t always going to be easy. The bible shows us that, but also provides a way to overcome those challenges. In addition, the bible that just because we’ve done wrong in the past, doesn’t mean we’ll never be forgiven. From reading this book, people can learn that the wrongs of the past can be forgiven if you truly repent it. And that can be very reassuring to many people. Finally, this bible shows hope, cruelty, and the way life should be through historical stories dating back to the beginning of time. The life lessons learned in this book could be applied to the everyday lives of anyone who reads it, not only Christians.
The Authors: According to the Christian religion, the Bible was written by many different people. All the people were followers of God, in which god used to help him tell his story. It's God's word by it's written down by his followers.
